Frequently Asked Questions
24 answers about process, pricing, timelines, guarantees and technology.
Pricing & Payment
How much does development cost?
Depends on project type and complexity. Telegram bot from $800, CRM from $2,500, web platform from $800. Full pricing on the Pricing page. Exact estimate after discussing requirements.
How does payment work?
Milestone-based: 30% upfront, 30% after first demo, 40% after delivery. Custom schedules available for large projects.
Can I pay in USD?
Yes. We accept bank wire in USD and EUR. Exchange rate: Central Bank rate + 2% on the day of payment. Approximate reference: 1 USD = 100 RUB.
Are there any discounts?
Startups get 15-25% off their first project. Long-term partners receive custom terms. Referral bonus for bringing new clients.
Timelines
What are typical development timelines?
MVP: 2-4 weeks. Standard project: 4-12 weeks. Enterprise: 3-12 months. Exact timelines are fixed in the contract after scope approval.
Can development be expedited?
Yes. Rush mode: +40% cost, priority team, daily standups. Suitable for deadline-driven launches.
What if timelines slip?
This is extremely rare (under 5% of projects). Weekly demos track progress. In case of force majeure: transparent communication and a correction plan.
When can we start?
Typically 3-7 days after scope approval and contract signing. If we have a free slot, we can start the next day.
Working Process
Who will be my point of contact?
The tech lead directly — no middleman managers. One contact for all questions: architecture, timelines, priorities.
How can I track development progress?
Weekly demos on a staging server. Access to Jira/Linear. Telegram chat with the team. You see results every week.
Do you use Agile?
Yes. 1-2 week sprints. Planning, dailies (async), demos, retros. We adapt the process to the project size.
How do you hand off the finished product?
Source code in your repository, deployment docs, runbook for your team, employee training (if needed), 90 days of warranty support.
NDA & Confidentiality
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, by default. 82 out of 86 of our projects operate under NDA. We sign before discussing project details.
Where is data stored?
On Russian servers (Selectel, Yandex Cloud) or on-premise at the client. Compliant with Russian FZ-152 and GDPR where required.
Can I feature your work in my portfolio?
Only with mutual consent. If the NDA prohibits it, code and visuals are not published. Many clients allow anonymized case studies.
Do you work with my competitors?
NDA prevents knowledge transfer between projects. If needed, we sign a non-compete for a specific market segment.
Guarantees & Support
Is there a warranty?
90 days of free warranty support after production launch. Bugs discovered during the warranty period are fixed at no cost.
What does support include?
24/7 monitoring, automatic backups, security updates, response time SLA. Support tier is discussed separately.
What does SLA mean specifically?
99.9% uptime. Response time: critical 30 min, high 2 hours, medium 8 hours, low 24 hours. Details are fixed in the SLA addendum to the contract.
What if I find a bug after delivery?
During warranty (90 days): fixed for free. After: retainer or one-time payment. Priority: critical bugs are fixed the same day.
Technical
What tech stack do you use?
Depends on the project. Main: Python, Go, TypeScript, React, Vue, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible. We pick the optimal stack for the task.
Can I choose the tech stack?
Yes. We recommend, but the final decision is yours. If the stack is non-standard, we warn about risks and suggest alternatives.
Do you work with legacy code?
Yes. Audit, refactoring, migration to a modern stack. Often more cost-effective than rewriting from scratch.
Can I embed your engineers in my team?
Yes. Outstaffing model: our engineers work in your process, following your standards. Rate starts at $35/hour.
